FORT WORTH, Texas – October 20, 2002:

ranch-Smith Printing's long-standing commitment to quality is dramatically reaffirmed with the company receiving certification of the latest, most updated Quality Management System. ISO 9001:2000 is a series of international requirements for the managing of a Quality System. With the year 2000 revision of the standard, quality objectives, continual improvement, and monitoring of customer satisfaction provide the customer with increased assurances that their needs and expectations will be met. The ISO Standard is accepted and recognized worldwide as the standard in Quality Assurance Systems. To date only 15% of ISO companies have qualified for this required new ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Daniel Hanson, vice president and general manager of Branch-Smith Printing, said “While we are delighted to have achieved this standard, the real value is that each and every employee contributed and is involved in the ISO quality management system. We realize that quality is everyone’s responsibility and requires conformance to customers' expectations 100% of the time.”
